Originally from Sydney, Dr Steven graduated from the University of Sydney in 1995 before moving to Canberra, where he has called home ever since.

In 2006, Dr Steven spent a short period working as a locum at Belconnen Animal Hospital before moving to a Southside veterinary practice, where he worked for 20 years. In June 2026, he was delighted to return to Belconnen Animal Hospital full-time.

Dr Steven particularly enjoys internal medicine cases, pathology, endocrinology and dermatology. He is also passionate about preventative medicine and helping pets stay healthy throughout their lives.

Outside of work, Dr Steven is an avid supporter of the Melbourne Storm and the Brumbies and enjoys watching his teams play on the weekend.
